The Dunes is a newly renovated 36-room property located in beautiful Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

We're a quiet, clean, family-oriented property with proximity to all the attractions of Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach.

The Dunes is in an ideal location: only a ten minute walk to the beach, a quick Jolly Trolly ride to the Rehoboth boardwalk, and walking distance to the restaurants and bars of Dewey.

GREAT TIME AT THE BEACH
 

"The room was very clean and comfortable. Recently renovated, it featured a microwave oven and mini fridge with plenty of space for drinks and snacks. Service was friendly and efficient. The motel is pretty close to all the attractions. Parking and WiFi were good too. All what we needed for an excellent weekend at the beach."

JULY 4TH VISIT
 

"My husband and I stayed for three nights over the July 4th holiday and had a wonderful experience. Our room was newly renovated and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful. The motel was also dog friendly and very accommodating to our pooch! Great location, easy walk to the nightlife in Dewey or the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach."

ROOM RATES
All rates are based on double occupancy and are exclusive of an 8% occupancy tax and a 3% county tax.    Additional guests over (16) years of age will be charged an additional $15.00 per person per night.  Please note, some weekends will require a minimum two (2) or three (3) night stay.

DEPOSIT
One night's stay plus tax is required to guarantee your reservation.

CHECK-IN:  3:00 PM
CHECK OUT: 11:00 AM

EARLY CHECK-IN
Guest check in is 3:00 PM. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee an early check-in during peak season (even at an additional cost). However, please call the hotel on your day of arrival and we can try to accommodate you.

LATE CHECK OUT
Guest Check out is 11:00 AM.  Late check out is subject to availability.

ENTERING POLICY
Housekeeping staff will enter rooms for daily refresh. This service includes making beds, general cleaning, and providing fresh towels as needed. Please use your privacy door tag, or contact the office to prevent entry or specify your service needs. Fresh bed linen service will be provided for stays longer than 3 days. Be aware that housekeeping will not enter rooms with unattended dogs.
 
CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
All floor, furniture, and fixture surfaces will be washed with cleanser and disinfectant. Full set of clean linen and blankets will be installed.
 
​CANCELLATION
Deposit of one night's stay plus tax is required at the time of booking.  You must cancel 72 hours prior to 3:00 PM on your day of arrival for a full refund.  When multiple night minimums are in place, you cannot cancel individual nights without penalty.

NO SMOKING
For our health and safety, we are a smoke-free property including: all guest rooms, balconies, and public areas. Smoking in your hotel room may result in a damage fee charged to your room bill of $200.00. 

DOG FRIENDLY
Dogs are permitted in a limited number rooms. Contact the motel directly to assure a dog friendly room is available.  A $40 flat fee is required regardless of length of stay.  This fee is a one time charge to pay for additional cleaning requirements.  Dogs can not be left unattended unless crated.  Limit two dogs per room.  We do not allow cats. 

PARKING
Parking is limited, and each room is allocated one (1) parking spot. You must contact us directly if additional spaces are needed. A fee may be applied.

AGE
All guests must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to check-in.  Exceptions are made for dependent children, spouses, and family members.  ID required upon request.

QUIET HOURS
To ensure all guests have a well rested stay, quiet hours are observed nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY
We offer two king size bedrooms on the first floor that are handicap accessible, including bathrooms.  We are happy to assist with any special needs, please call us with any questions to that we can best serve you.
